The Foundation Charter Oak Pegnataro Limited Edition is a heartfelt homage from master blender Nicholas Melillo to his grandfather, Frederick "Freddy" Pegnataro: a man whose legacy of family, hard work, and love of cigars lives on in this exceptional blend. As part of the award-winning Charter Oak line, the Pegnataro Limited Edition brings deeper complexity and refined richness to a fan-favorite series known for its value and quality.
This 5.5" x 48 corona is handcrafted in Nicaragua and features a stunning Connecticut Shade wrapper, known for its bold flavor and natural sweetness. Beneath it lies well-aged Nicaraguan binders and fillers that deliver a medium to full-bodied profile with extraordinary balance and depth.
Expect layered notes of dark chocolate, espresso, earth, black pepper, and dried fruit, all wrapped in a slow-burning, box-pressed format that enhances the flavor and draw. Presented in an elegant 12-count box, the Pegnataro is both a collector’s item and a deeply personal expression of Foundation's roots.
