rim molding

When (industrial) 3D printing isn't the solution for the problem or design being offered, we opt for an alternative way to bring your project to success. Reaction Injection Molding, hereafter "RIM," is a production technique that uses two components. The A component is an isocyanate, and the B component is a polyol. Through an exothermic reaction that occurs during the mixing of these components, Polyurethane (PU) is formed. The properties of this material make it particularly suitable for products with technical purposes. Some advantages include:

To use this material, we design and produce 3D printed molds, allowing us to bring your products and ideas to life. The mold designs are easily adaptable, and their quick production time makes them extremely suitable for prototyping as well as optimizing the mold.
